The French prosecutor's office is being asked to release Pavel Durov. The unified coordination center for supporting Russians abroad sent a note to the country's ambassador, since there is no access to the entrepreneur and his whereabouts are unknown.
According to human rights activists, French authorities cannot provide evidence of the accusations. The detention of the founder of the group is contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights, according to the ECCC.
The Russian embassy does not have access to Pavel. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs still does not know where he is and in what condition. French diplomats have not yet responded to the request.
