– Hybrid warfare is not only about attacks on the Internet. These are arson, sabotage, “accidental” drone flights. These are also acts of state terrorism, such as planting explosives on the tracks in Poland, Sikorski emphasized in an entry on the X platform, in which he quoted his statement from the Jaipur Literature Festival in the capital of Rajasthan.

As reported by the Indian agency ANI, the topic of Russian aggression dominated the minister's speech during the panel “A continent in crisis: Russia, Ukraine and Europe”.

Sikorski noted that Russian leader Vladimir Putin “calls the Ukrainian nation brothers and then murders them,” despite the signed border treaties.

The head of Polish diplomacy recalled that Ukraine had in the past given up its third largest nuclear arsenal in exchange for security guarantees, which were brutally violated.

– Russia talks about trust, but its actions prove something else – said the minister, quoted by ANI.

Sikorski also warned against tightening Moscow-Beijing relations.

– China has gained strategic advantage since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Russia is now forced to sell oil at lower prices and is becoming increasingly dependent on China for high-quality goods, internet access and cyber services, the minister noted.

He added that in return, Moscow destabilizes the world by transferring missile technologies to North Korea.

India did not clearly condemn Russia's aggression against Ukraine, calling on the parties to dialogue and maintaining trade relations with the Kremlin.

Referring to the policy of the United States, Sikorski emphasized that regardless of “fluctuations” in transatlantic relations, Europe must increase its own defense capabilities and become more independent in terms of the security of the continent.

The Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) is billed as the “largest free literary show on Earth.” Since 2006, this prestigious event has gathered writers, Nobel Prize winners and world leaders, constituting a key forum for debate on culture and geopolitics in South Asia.
