President of Iran, warning to Donald Trump: “An attack against Khamenei is equivalent to a total war against the nation”

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian threatened on Sunday that any attack targeting Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who holds power in Iran, would be a declaration of war.

“The time has come to look for a new leader“, Donald Trump told the Politico website.
“An attack against the supreme leader of our country is equivalent to a total war against the Iranian nation”, warns X, in Persian, Massoud Pezeshkian, News writes.
“This man is a sick man, who should lead his country properly and stop killing people”, Trump said.
Ali Khamenei, 86, has been in power since 1989.
While Trump has not made a decision on whether to attack Iran, he has called for military resources to be available should he order a large-scale strike, they said.
