CFR Cluj a sanction the transfer of Christopher Braun (34 years old) to the team. The defender from Rapid played for the team from Ardeal between January 2022 and January 2023.
On the occasion of his return to the team, Braun gave an interview for the official YouTube channel of the team coached by Daniel Pancu.

The defender stated that he feels glad to have returned to CFR and is ready to give everything for the team.
– Welcome back, Chris! How does it feel for you to be back at CFR?
– It feels really good to be back here and I'm very happy to be here.
– What were your first thoughts when you heard that CFR wanted you back?
– I felt happy that I am still valued and respected by a club like CFR, so the decision to return was very easy.
– Have you kept in touch with anyone from the club during this period?
– Most of them left, but always when I played against CFR it was nice to see familiar faces.
– Physically and mentally, how are you feeling? What level are you at?
– I am 100%, I trained, I played, so physically and mentally I am 100% ready to help the team.
– What are your goals for the season? It's the middle of the season, one that isn't easy. What are your goals?
– I think my goals will coincide with those of the club. I think it's very important to get to the play-offs and we need to get as close as possible as soon as possible to achieve that and I want to be part of that.
– Are you ready to join the team as soon as possible?
– Yes, as soon as possible, but it is not my decision. First of all I want to meet the boys and when everything is in order I hope to be part of the team.
– Do you have a message for the fans?
– I just want to say that I'm very happy to be here again and I can't wait to play in front of you!
