President Nawrocki among world leaders in Davos. He will meet with Trump


The first day of the Polish president's presence in Davos – January 20 – will be devoted to bilateral talks and relations with key international institutions. Nawrocki will meet with the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, and then with the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga.

Then, Nawrocki will take part – as noted by the Chancellery of the President – in a private reception on the occasion of the World Economic Forum hosted by Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Thani and Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi from the Qatar Investment Authority.

President Nawrocki will end the day by attending an official lunch organized by the President of the World Economic Forum, Borge Brende, and the co-chairs of the Forum's Board of Trustees: Laurence Fink and Andre Hoffmann.

President's speech devoted to the Three Seas Initiative

The next day, the president will take part in a debate on Europe's ability to defend itself, as well as in an informal meeting of world economy leaders (IGWEL) entitled “Restoring a Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World.”

President Nawrocki also has a bilateral meeting planned with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof. The next item will be the president's participation in a special session with the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

President Nawrocki will begin the last day of his visit to Davos with a meeting with representatives of the Polish media. He will then hold talks with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins. The president will also take part in the informal IGWEL meeting, devoted to Europe's new geopolitical approach, and will meet with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic. The visit to Davos will be concluded with Nawrocki's speech regarding the Three Seas Initiative.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that the documents regarding the peace agreement in Russia's war against Ukraine are practically ready and they may be signed as early as next week, during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The 56th edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos will be held on January 19-23 and will be held under the slogan “The Spirit of Dialogue”.

The World Economic Forum (WEF), organized since 1971 in Davos, Switzerland, is one of the most prestigious economic and political summits in the world. It is attended by political leaders – including presidents and prime ministers – as well as from the world of business, science and culture.
