Electric cars with new subsidies in Germany. How much money and for whom?


German media report that the local government wants to increase sales of electric cars and is therefore restoring subsidies for them. Previously, the federal government abruptly withdrew subsidies for the purchase of electric cars at the end of 2023 to relieve the budget, and the current coalition of CDU/CSU and SPD has agreed on a new program.

Subsidies for electricians. How much and for whom?

According to “Bild”, the subsidy is aimed primarily at people with low and medium incomes and can be claimed retroactively for cars registered from January 1, 2026. Depending on the car, income and family size, you can claim an amount from EUR 1,500 to EUR 6,000 (equivalent to PLN 6.3-25.3 thousand).
