IN 2025 year in Krasnoyarsk built 38 residential buildings and 3 dormitories of the Siberian Federal University – a total of 572,836.76 sq. meters. The statistics are given by tElegram channel of the city hall “GradVestnik”.
Data on constructed housing takes into account the area of apartments along with balconies, loggias, verandas and terraces. The most housing was built in the Sverdlovsk region, in second place is the Sovetsky district, and the Oktyabrsky district closes the top three.
“In 2025, there is a tendency to reduce the area of housing put into operation. This is caused by the market situation, which is recorded in all regions of the country. Also, 2025 became for us the year of changing the vector of urban planning policy. We have focused our efforts on reducing chaotic development in the city and implementing those aspects that are enshrined in the Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation. Thus, we lowered the intensity coefficient of residential development to 0.5, established the minimum size of the KRT territories, implemented at the initiative of copyright holders, which will allow the construction of social facilities simultaneously with houses. The introduction of “record” square meters is now not a priority for the administration. What’s more important for us is improving the urban environment: the quality of housing under construction, its appearance and the surrounding area,” said Sergei Shikunov, deputy head of the city and head of the Krasnoyarsk urban planning department.
The department addedthat the peak of housing commissioning in Krasnoyarsk over the past 5 years fell on 2023. Twhen the overall figure was moree 813 thousand square metrov. IN 2025 projects started in 2020-2021 were completed.
