Cybersecurity a priority. Germany and Israel develop joint protection


The agreement, which was finalized in Jerusalem last weekend, covers a wide range of activities. These included, among others: development of a common “cyberdome” system, cooperation on artificial intelligence technologies, defense against drones, as well as modernization of warning systems for the civilian population.

– We already had a partnership based on trust in the past, which we want to further strengthen, emphasized Alexander Dobrindt, speaking in the German parliament. He also noted that Israel, as a world leader in cyber defense, has extensive experience that Germany wants to use as part of this cooperation.
The German Ministry of the Interior announced that the agreement also covers the protection of key infrastructure, including energy networks and connected vehicle systems. The agreement also provides for actions to protect the population, fight terrorism and improve crime law enforcement processes.
