This was to be expected, after all. After several years of presence in Poland, Amazon is increasing prices for the Amazon Prime subscription program for the first time. The scale of the increases is impressive, but the annual cost of using free deliveries and a video library remains the lowest on the market. Check how much you will pay for Prime in Poland now.

Amazon Prime increase by 41%
The Amazon Prime subscription becomes more expensive in both the annual and monthly variants. The scale is impressive – the price increases by as much as 41% and is currently the same
- monthly variant – PLN 15.50 (was PLN 10.99).
- annual variant – PLN 79 (was PLN 49).
New customers can take advantage of a 30-day trial period and gain access to free deliveries from the Amazon store, as well as to the library of Amazon Prime movies and series and free games in Amazon Luna.
Current Amazon Prime members should accept the changes
Subscriptions purchased so far will remain active until the next payment, but according to our observations, current customers did not receive separate information about the increases electronically (it cannot be ruled out that Amazon will correct this error). The message about the higher fee appears only after you go to manage the service.

In a slightly hidden link there is a message about price changes for Amazon Prime, with a mention that this also applies to Prime Video. If we want to continue the subscription, we should accept the information before the next – higher – payment date, otherwise access to the service will expire.

Amazon is still the cheapest in streaming
Although a strong increase in the annual Amazon Prime plan is not good news, the fact remains that the subscription, even after the changes, will be the cheapest on the market. The lowest fee for the largest giant, Netflix, is currently PLN 33, Disney Plus – approximately PLN 35, and HBO Max – approximately PLN 30.
