In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office stopped the dumping of liquid waste into the Irsha River.
According to the supervisory agency, in the fall of 2025, during an inspection of an organization that discharges domestic and process wastewater, violations were discovered.
Instead of cleaning up liquid waste, the company secretly dumped it in random places without reference to the approved coordinates of the industrial environmental control program. IN as a result of river Irsha excess pollutants were recorded up to 23 times.
“The prosecutor's office made a representation to the director of the company. Also, according to the prosecutor's resolutions, he now faces a whole bunch of articles for non-compliance with environmental requirements during the operation of structures (Article 8.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), deliberate distortion of information about sources of pollution (Part 1 of Article 8.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), violation of requirements for the protection of water bodies, which may lead to their pollution (Part 4 of Article 8.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), violation of water use rules when discharging wastewater into water bodies (Article 8.14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and failure to fulfill the obligation to provide information to update registration data (Article 8.46 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation),” – reported the regional prosecutor's office.
The progress of eliminating violations and bringing the perpetrators to justice are under the control of the prosecutor's office.
