Contacted by Gazeta Sporturilor, Dani Coman, the president of FC Argeș, assured that the turf will be in optimal conditions at the time of the match.
“Very well, we are waiting for them to clear the snow. Absolutely no one has contacted us. I don't care what the FCSB do. The turf will be good by game time. Of course the heating system works, otherwise we wouldn't get the license if it didn't work”said Dani Coman, for GSP.

The original news: FCSB threatens not to enter the field with FC Argeș
FCSB threatens not to enter the field with FC Argeș, if the lawn at Mioveni is frozenaccording to golazo.ro. The officials of the Bucharest team were warned by Mihai Lixandru, the red-blue midfielder, that there is no functional heating system for the lawn in Mioveni.
Lixandru played at CS Mioveni in 2022 and 2023 and is familiar with the situation of the Municipal stadium in the town, which became the home of FC Argeș during the reconstruction of the “Nicolae Dobrin” arena.
The LPF regulation is clear: all stadiums must have turf heating
According to the LPF regulation in force, all stadiums where the Superliga is played must have a turf heating system.
“All stadiums where League 1 championship games are organized must have the playing surface covered only with natural or hybrid grass (this condition applies from the 2019/2020 season) and to be equipped with a night installation, a heating system for the playing field to allow the normal performance of scheduled games during periods with negative temperatures and at least 300 covered seats.
By way of exception, clubs promoted for the first time in League I can benefit from a grace period of a maximum of 1 competitive year, until the end of the respective competitive year, in order to modernize their own stadium and bring it up to the necessary standards.
The grace period does not apply to lawns and the safety measures provided for by art. 10 paragraph 1, letter h) and t) of Law no. 4/2008 supplemented with the provisions of Law no. 10/2012, these being mandatory”, the LPF regulation states.
