In the Sharypovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police seized illegally stored weapons and ammunition from a resident of the village of Bolshoye Ozero.
A 57-year-old man was found at home more than a kilogram of gunpowder in four metal cans, a double-barreled smoothbore firearm, a rifled firearm with an optical sight, 16 cartridges of 16 gauge, 5 of which were homemade, and 59 cartridges of 7.62 caliberx39. There were no permits for the arsenal.
The owner explained that he took the weapon, cartridges and gunpowder from his grandmother’s house in 2005, and decided not to complete the documents.
Criminal cases were opened against the man under Part 1 of Articles 222, 222.1 and 223 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and an administrative protocol was drawn up under Article 20.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
