In Thailand, the body of a plastic surgeon, a native of Severo-Yeniseisk Boris Timofeev, was found in the room of the Devari hotel. The examination revealed signs of violent death; the man was 41 years old.
According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, on January 6, Boris flew to Pattaya on vacation with the Biblio-Globus tour. According to the forensic medical examination, death occurred on the same day. On January 14, the family received the autopsy report and learned the preliminary cause of death: multiple skull fractures and severe traumatic brain injury.
“According to the mother of the deceased, shortly after arriving in Pattaya, Boris called her and casually said that he had become an unwanted witness to the rape of a girl. Whether these events are connected remains to be determined by the investigation,” journalists report.
Boris will be buried in his homeland in Severo-Yeniseisk. It is not yet known whether insurance will cover the costs of transporting the body to Russia. However, colleagues and hundreds of patients whom the surgeon helped have already collected the required amount.
The website prodoctorov.ru states that the man worked in Yekaterinburg. However, his profile has not been updated since 2016.
