A family from Krasnoyarsk sued the Criminal Code for more than 220 thousand rubles for a flood in their apartment

The court recovered material damage from LLC Management Company “Pokrovskie Vorota” for the flood in the apartment of Krasnoyarsk residents.
Citizens filed a lawsuit against the management company due to the fact that in July and August 2025, during rainstorms, their apartment was flooded due to the fault of management company employees, and ultimately this led to damage to the interior decoration of the residential premises.
According to the expert's conclusion, the cause of the flooding was a violation of the integrity of the roof covering. Since proper maintenance and repair of the common property of the house is the responsibility of the management company, material damage in the amount of 220,800 rubles was recovered from Pokrovskie Vorota Management Company LLC in favor of the plaintiffs.
In addition, the Kirovsky District Court ordered the company to pay a penalty, a fine and compensate the injured family for moral damage.
