Road workers put in order the second section of the Yeniseisk – Vysokogorsky highway

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the reconstruction of the Yeniseisk-Vysokogorsky road in the section from 42 to 57 kilometers has been completed. The work was carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

The Department of Highways in the region said that specialists strengthened the subgrade, poured crushed stone, widened the roadway, installed artificial structures and culverts, installed barrier fencing and road signs. At the 47th kilometer of the highway, a parking area for heavy vehicles was built.

“Under the terms of the contract, after completion of the work, the same contractor will maintain the facility until 2028. This year, road workers will reconstruct the bridge over the Rudikovka River, which is located on the same section of the Yeniseisk-Vysokogorsky highway,” the Department explained.

Let us remind you that this road connects the regional center with the villages of the Yenisei and North Yenisei municipal districts. After the commissioning of the Vysokogorsky Bridge, the direction began to be actively used for cargo transportation.

At the end of 2024, after reconstruction, the section from 27 to 42 kilometers was put into operation. Design documentation has been developed for the renewal of sections from 10 to 19 and from 19 to 27 kilometers.
