In the Motyginsky district, the school director will be tried for violations during its repairs

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, investigators have completed work on a criminal case against the director of one of the schools in the Motyginsky district, who is accused of abuse of power and negligence.

The investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation recalled that in October 2023, the director signed a state contract with builders for the reconstruction of the emergency building of the educational institution. The contract amount is about 45 million rubles.

The work was completed, but not in full. Despite this, the director signed the acceptance documents, and the contractor received all the money stipulated by the contract. The investigation department noted that in this way the manager wanted to create the appearance of proper performance of his official duties.

“The cost of unfulfilled work under the contract amounted to more than 4.5 million rubles, as a result of which the budget of the Motyginsky Municipal District and the Krasnoyarsk Territory suffered damage in the specified amount,” the press service said.

A criminal case was opened against the school director under Part 1 of Art. 285 (abuse of official powers), part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). He admitted his guilt in committing the crime. Now the materials of the criminal case are being studied by the prosecutor's office to approve the indictment and subsequently send it to court for consideration on the merits.

We would like to remind you that earlier the prosecutor’s office reported that the contractor for the reconstruction of the Mashukovskaya secondary school was KDSK LLC. The builders made the facade from cheap materials, the building was poorly insulated, and the blind area was completely concreted with violations of technology. The workers also did not put the sidewalks in order and did not do any landscaping, although funds were allocated for this. A criminal case was opened against the contractor under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is now being considered in court.
