Goalkeeper Otto Hindrich (23 years old) will play for Legia Warsaw, Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk announced.

After parting ways this winter with starters Louis Munteanu and Lindon Emerllahu, CFR Cluj is close to losing another important player.

Otto Hindrich will be loaned to Legia Warsaw

The cited source mentions that CFR Cluj and Legia Varsovia have reached an agreement, and Hindrich is to arrive at the training camp in Spain of the Polish team.

The goalkeeper will be loaned, and the contract will include a clause whereby the team that was trained this season by Edi Iordănescu will also have the option of a permanent transfer.

Brought up by CFR Cluj, Hindrich was also loaned to SSU Poli Timișoara and Kisvarda (Hungary). Returned to the country in the summer of 2023, he collected 78 games in the shirt of the Gruia group and is worth 1.3 million euros, according to Transfermarkt. He scored 81 goals and went clean in 30 matches.

Legia Warsaw, the most successful team in Poland (15 championship titles, 21 Cups and 6 Supercups), is in 17th place (out of 18) in the domestic championship, with 19 points after 18 matches, tied with Termalica, the last ranked. But the differences between the teams are small, the 10th place being only two points away.

On the other hand, CFR Cluj occupies 11th place in the SuperLiga, with 26 points after 21 stages, seven less than Oțelul (6th place, last play-off). In the first official match of 2026, the team coached by Daniel Pancu will face the same group from Galața, at home, on January 18, from 17:45. Until then, he has scheduled a friendly with Atzeneta, a team from the fifth Spanish league, on January 13.
