The Azomureș plant, the largest producer of chemical fertilizers and one of the largest gas consumers in the country, part of the Swiss group Ameropa, will send about 600 employees into technical unemployment, and major maintenance and service contracts will be suspended or significantly reduced, which will directly affect more than 1,500 employees of the contractors.

The company also points out that Romgaz has not yet submitted an offer to take over the combine, as it initially indicated.
