Yuri Ivanashkin, Honored Mechanical Engineer, passed away at the age of 80 RSFSR and honorary citizen of Krasnoyarsk. The governor of the region announced this today.
Mikhail Kotyukov noted that the fate of Yuri Ivanashkin was ninextricably linked with the labor history of our region:
“He worked at the Krasnoyarsk Combine Harvester Plant for almost 40 years, went through a long professional path and became a full holder of the Order of Labor Glory. Yuri Filippovich sincerely supported the prestige of blue-collar professions. On his initiative, a regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of Heroes, Cavaliers of State Awards and Laureates of state awards “Labor Valor of Russia” was created in the region. As head of the department, Yuri Filippovich did a lot to preserve labor traditions and the memory of people of business. I express my most sincere condolences to family, friends, and everyone who knew Yuri Filippovich. Blessed memory.”
