“The worst tourists, they do what they want!”. Russia has canceled visas for the Chinese, but the locals are unhappy with them

On December 1, Russia canceled the visa regime for Chinese citizens. From now on, citizens of the People's Republic of China (PRC) can enter the country only on the basis of their passport and can stay up to 30 days. However, ordinary Russians tend not to welcome this decision.

The opinion is that Chinese tourists would be rude, do not follow the rules of conduct and talk very loudly, which would make them the most unpleasant guests in the world. Russia expects a several-fold increase in tourism from China. Currently, Chinese tourists occupy the first place among all nationalities of tourists in Russia, and according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), after the abolition of visas, the flow of tourists from China will double.
