Meteorologists updated the forecast for the Capital during the night. On Sunday morning, the streets and roads of Bucharest are covered by a layer of snow. There is good traffic on the main arteries.
Meteorologists reported that starting tonight, from 1:30 a.m., and until Tuesday, January 13, at 10 a.m., the city of Bucharest will be under the influence of a meteorological information message targeting particularly cold weather, mixed precipitation and poles, snow and snow cover.
It snowed in the Capital during the night from Saturday to Sunday. According to ANM, at 01:30 the thickness of the deposited snow layer was on average 3…4 cm and the meteorologists say that it will continue to snow during the day, with a total thickness of the snow layer forecasted to be generally 7…9 cm. Cars are moving well on Sunday morning in the Capital.
The minimum temperature on Sunday morning was -5 degrees in Bucharest. Today, the weather will become particularly cold, according to ANM. The wind will be light to moderate. The thermal maximum will be -4…-3 degrees, and the minimum tomorrow morning will be -6…-5 degrees.
And on Monday the weather will remain particularly cold. Skies will be variable and winds will be light to moderate. The maximum temperature will be around -1 degree, and the minimum on Tuesday morning will be -10…-8 degrees.
