New information about a wanted billionaire from Poland. He was going to change the country


54-year-old Ściborski has been listed in the database of people wanted by the Lower Silesian police for over two years. He is sentenced to 10 years in prison for massive fraud. According to information from “Gazeta Wyborcza”, he allegedly defrauded over 600 people of approximately PLN 80 million. The injured include: people who invested in the company founded by Ściborski – Polski Holding Medyczny Polskie Centrum Zdrowia. After the company's collapse in 2015, irregularities were revealed. In 2018, an indictment was submitted to the court, and in 2022, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Even then, the billionaire was elusive.

A wanted billionaire from Wrocław is in another African country
As “Gazeta Wyborcza” reported at the end of October, Romuald Ściborski was located in Kenya. He was to cooperate with two universities there, calling himself a professor. He published scientific works, including: regarding COVID-19. He was seen in one of the hotels in Mombasa (Kenya). He also allegedly submitted an application for Kenyan citizenship, which was rejected.
Now “Wyborcza” has revealed traces of his activities in Cape Town (South Africa). He has just published another scientific paper in physics, this time signed as a scientist at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Despite the issued arrest warrant, the Polish police have no way of moving against the wanted billionaire because our country does not have an extradition agreement with Kenya. In the case of South Africa, it is similar – there is no such agreement either.
Can a former doctor accused of fraud feel safe? According to information from “Wyborcza”, the Polish Ministry of Justice could ask the authorities in Kenya and South Africa to extradite a wanted criminal, at the request of the District Court in Wrocław. However, the court did not comment on this idea. The press office informed “Wyborcza” that the international search for Romuald Ściborski is still ongoing.
