Trolleybuses have begun running in the Solnechny microdistrict of Krasnoyarsk, said Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin.
Trolleybus No. 5 will go to the microdistrict. Its route has been extended, and now it runs from the Gremyachaya Griva/SFU stop to the 4th microdistrict (Slavy St.) stop. The first trolleybus left today at 4:40.
“Improving the transport accessibility of the neighborhood is one of the tasks that residents talk about. At their request, the possibility of launching trolleybuses was explored. An additional section of the contact network has been built,” recalled Sergei Vereshchagin.
He also noted that he took control of the construction of a backup road to the microdistrict.
“The process did not stop here even during the holidays. The route of the highway is already visible – one of the objects of the Krasnoyarsk-400 program. The road's completion date is the end of 2027. It is important to maintain the current pace of construction,” the mayor said.
