Who is behind the blowing up Nord Stream? Roman Czerwiński comments

Three of the four Nord Stream gas pipelines were blown up on September 26, 2022 at a depth of about 80 m, at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. These gas pipelines, connecting Russia with Germany, were a key source of financing the Russian war machine. The German Prosecutor's Office general has described the incident as “anti -constitutional sabotage”, regardless of the motives of the perpetrators.
In the course of the investigation, German services identified seven suspects, including Ukrainian citizens. One of them, Serhij K., is waiting for extradition from Italy, while the other, Volodymyr Ż., He was recently detained in Poland.
On Monday, the Warsaw District Court extended the arrest for Volodymyr Ż. The man was wanted by a European arrest warrant. He was detained on September 30 at his place of residence. He is currently in a detention center in Warsaw.
Nord Stream. Roman Czerwiński: These were legal goals
Czerwiński, the former commander of the unit of forces of special operations of the Ukrainian army, confirmed in an interview with Radio freedom that he knew Serhija K. and Wołodymyr Ż., But he refused to clearly confirm his participation in surgery in the Baltic Sea – describes “Rzeczpospolita”.
“The investigation is conducted incorrectly and it is not worth talking about it on the vision,” said Czerwiński.
In November 2023, “Washington Post”, citing Ukrainian and European officials, reported that Roman Czerwiński managed the activities of a group of six.
The former intelligence officer spared no criticism against German law enforcement agencies, which he accused of exceeding his rights and acting in the interest of Russia. “This gas pipeline was one of the main sources of financing the war in Ukraine. If the Ukrainians did it, they were legal goals for Ukraine,” he emphasized. He also added that German courts are not able to objectively assess the situation.
Czerwiński revealed that the German side proposed milder sentences – a maximum of two years in prison – in exchange for the granting of Ukrainians to guilty. “This is an absurd proposal, because there is no crime and no fault of Ukrainians in this matter,” he said.
Roman Czerwiński: A mysterious past and conflict with Kiev
Roman Czerwiński has a turbulent career behind him in special services. In July 2022, he was accused of abuse of power in connection with an operation to make the Russian pilot to escape to Ukraine. The operation ended tragically when the Russians shelled the Ukrainian canyon airport, causing the death of one soldier and injuring 17 others. Czerwiński claims that the allegations are fabricated.
His name also appears in the context of the so -called Wagnergate scandals in which Ukrainian services tried to capture mercenaries from the Wagner group. The operation ended in failure, and Czerwiński pointed to the leakage of information from the office of President Volodymyr Zelanski as a cause of failure.
