Shooting in Minneapolis. The partner of the murdered woman spoke out


As we wrote on Wednesday, ICE agents [Immigration and Customs Enforcement, czyli Urzędu Celno-Imigracyjnego] they conducted operations in Minneapolis. According to the official statement of the services, one of the aggressive people tried to run over ICE agents with a car. Then one of the officers grabbed his gun.

“The officer fired shots. He used his skills and saved his own life and that of his colleagues. The perpetrator was hit and died. The injured ICE officers are expected to make a full recovery,” the statement reads.

The family of the woman shot dead in Minneapolis spoke out

It is already known that the woman who was shot was identified by her mother as 37-year-old Renee Good.

“Renee was one of the best people I knew. She was incredibly compassionate. She cared for people throughout her life. She was loving and forgiving. She was an amazing human being,” the woman told The Minnesota Star Tribune.

According to the British news station Sky News, Renee Nicole Good's life partner, Becca, also commented on the incident.

— We stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns, Becca Good began.

She added that her partner was “kind” and “radiated with kindness.” When she was shot, she left behind three children. The youngest was six years old.

— Now I was left alone to raise our son and continue to teach him, as Renee believed, that there are people who will build a better world for him. That those who did this had fear and anger in their hearts and we need to show them a better way, Becca Good explained.
