JD Vance hits out at Europe and Denmark over Greenland. “Key Element”
The vice president of the United States noted Greenland's key role in air defense in the event of a possible attack by Russia or China. “If, God forbid, someone were to launch a nuclear missile at our continent or Europe, Greenland is a key defense,” J.D. Vance told Fox News.

JD Vance speaks Donald Trump's language regarding Greenland. “You can't do something stupid”
Vance noted that just because Denmark has been a staunch ally of the United States for years does not mean it is doing enough to secure Greenland today. “Just because you did something smart 25 years ago doesn't mean you can't do something stupid now,” he said. He added that “President Trump is clear: 'You're not doing a good job with Greenland.'
— We will make sure to defend US interests. “I think the president is willing to go as far as it takes to ensure that,” he added.
Greenland's location makes it an ideal place to deploy early warning systems against missile attacks and monitor ship traffic in the region. The United States has the Pituffik space base on the island, formerly known as Thule Air Base. In recent years, the island's natural resources, such as rare minerals, uranium and iron, have also attracted increasing interest.
