Kyiv and Washington are finalizing an important document. It's time for Russia to move

“In fact, ready to be finalized at the highest level, (during the meeting) with the President of the United States, is a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine. It is important that Ukraine continues to manage to combine the work of European and American teams. In particular, documents on reconstruction and economic development were discussed together,” the president wrote on the X platform.

Zelensky noted that complex issues regarding the basic conditions for ending the war were discussed during the talks, and the Ukrainian side presented possible options for finalizing work on the peace document.

The president also added that the United States plans separate contacts with Russia. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine expects feedback on whether Moscow is really ready to end the war. At the same time – as he assured – Kiev continues to inform partners about the effects of Russian attacks, which, according to Zelensky, do not indicate a change in the Kremlin's priorities.
