At least five people were injured during an explosion at the Alania Mall shopping center in Vladikavkaz.
The incident occurred just before the stores opened. Previously, three victims were inside the building during the emergency. Two passers-by were caught by shrapnel on the street.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations and firefighters are at the scene. People are being evacuated.
