Ten earthquakes in an hour and a half in Kamchatka. The strongest – magnitude 7.4 – occurred off the coast of the peninsula at 9:49. Underground tremors were felt in many areas of the region.
The magnitude of all earthquakes is from 5.0 to 7.4, the foci of falling-10-20 km, the epicenters-130-166 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On the peninsula, the tsunami was dangerous. According to forecasts, a wave of up to 60 cm high can approach the shores of the Aleutian district, 40 cm-to the Ust-Kamchatsky District and 15 cm to the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka city district. Due to the threat of Tsunami, the Ministry of Emergencies strongly recommends leaving the coast.
