Naftoport from the PERN Group reloaded 37.399 million tons of crude oil in 2025, the most in its history. During this time, the company's terminal received 379 ships with raw materials and 84 ships with petroleum products.


Summarizing 2025, Naftoport announced on Wednesday that it recorded the highest transshipment of crude oil in its history, amounting to 37.399 million tons compared to 36.651 million tons in 2024. The company also announced that the scale of all transhipments carried out there – crude oil and petroleum products – remained at the previous year's level.
According to Naftoport, in 2025, total transshipment amounted to 38.652 million tons, of which 1.253 million tons were petroleum products. At the same time, the company calculated that its terminal handled a total of 463 ships, including 379 with crude oil and 84 with petroleum products.
In October 2025, Naftoport announced that by 2028 a new, sixth position will be built there with a reloading capacity of approximately 9 million tons of crude oil per year. According to PERN, thanks to the investment, Poland will strengthen its position as the region's energy hub, ready to handle the transit of raw materials to neighboring countries.
PERN, based in Płock, is a strategic entity for Poland's energy security. The company manages critical infrastructure, responsible for, among others: for pumping crude oil through pipelines in Poland to the Orlen Group refineries in Płock and Gdańsk, as well as to two refineries in Germany: Schwedt and Leuna, and for storing raw materials and liquid fuels in its bases throughout the country.
Throughout the country, PERN manages a network of over 2.5 thousand. km of crude oil and product pipelines and has 19 fuel depots with a total capacity of over 2.8 million cubic meters, as well as four crude oil depots with a total capacity of over 4.1 million cubic meters.
Naftoport based in Gdańsk, which transships crude oil and petroleum products, is an entity in which PERN holds 66.67 percent. shares.
“The company is an important element of the logistics of oil supplies for Polish and German refineries and its transit, as well as land and sea reloading of petroleum products,” PERN reported.
The other shareholders in Naftoport are: Orlen, Port Północny, J&S Servive & Investment and the State Treasury. (PAP)
