Zelensky announced the creation of a “security architecture after the war”

Zelensky stressed that the summit of the “coalition of the willing” was very representative and brought together 27 state leaders and representatives of countries and international organizations.

“It is important that today there are solid documents of the coalition. These are not just words – specifics. […] With these documents, we are strengthening further legal work in countries – with parliaments, so that at the moment when diplomacy works to end the war, we have full readiness to deploy the forces of the “coalition of the willing,” he said.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that “the details have been worked out in the system of other documents.”

“It has been determined which countries are ready to take leadership in elements of ensuring security on the ground, in the sky, at sea, in reconstruction. It has been determined what forces are needed. It has been determined how the forces will be controlled and at what levels the command will be,” Zelensky explained.

He called the Armed Forces of Ukraine the main element of security guarantees.

“On the basis of our army, all other elements will work effectively. The military of France, Britain, and Ukraine worked in detail on the deployment, quantity, specific types of weapons, on the components of the armed forces that are needed and will be able to work. We already have such necessary details. We understand which country is ready for what – from all the countries of the “coalition of the willing,” Zelensky said.

He named the main outcome of the summit in Paris.

“The architecture of what security should be like after this war actually already exists. And it is within the power of the partners to push for Russia to come to the end of the war. Ukraine has never been an obstacle to peace, Russia was the source, the beginning of this war, the source of aggression, and in such a formula it is clear who should take the key steps,” he emphasized.

According to him, “everyone understands that the aggressor must stop for peace to work.”

“All the tools for this work: from our deep strikes, sanctions and diplomacy, which is so important. […] Ukraine needs air defense missiles, a constant supply, since Russian strikes, unfortunately, despite diplomacy, the strikes do not stop. Russia is not investing 100% in diplomacy yet. […] The stronger our defense, the stronger diplomacy will ultimately be,” Zelensky said.
