Courageous gesture of a teenage girl from Cluj: she called 112 for help when her parents threatened each other

A 14-year-old girl from Cluj called 112 to ask for help right when her parents were arguing violently. Shortly after the call, the police arrived at the door of the house, and both adults ended up being criminally investigated. The minor's father is now subject to a protection order and is not allowed to approach his ex-partner.

According to the investigation, the girl's parents had been separated for a long time, and the teenager was in the father's care. According to the official police report, the scandal broke out when the woman showed up at her ex-partner's home, claiming her right to live in the home as well, stirileprotv.ro writes.

The dispute quickly escalated, moving from bickering to outright threats. The woman claimed she was physically assaulted during the incident, while the man claims he only tried to forcibly evacuate her by grabbing her arm.

The teenager intervenes to stop the violence

A police team quickly arrived at the scene and defused the conflict. Both parents are now under criminal investigation: the man for hitting and other violence, and the woman for domestic violence.

Protection order issued by Turda Court

Later, the Turda Court analyzed the evidence and issued a two-month protection order. According to the decision, the minor's father is not allowed to approach the ex-partner or attempt any form of contact during the order. Compliance with this measure is monitored by the Police structures within the MAI.
