“They will definitely turn out soft.” A proven recipe for perfect pancakes

User of the Ukrainian culinary portal Cookpad Darina Posmetnaya shared a recipe for pancakes with boiling water and milk.

“Pancakes that will definitely turn out soft,” the user noted.

Ingredients:

  • two eggs;
  • 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
  • 300 ml milk;
  • 180–200 ml boiling water;
  • 200 g flour;
  • 30 g butter;
  • a pinch of salt.

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, beat eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt. If you want sweet pancakes, you need to add more sugar.
  2. Add milk and sifted flour. We combine everything so that there are no lumps.
  3. Pour boiling water in a thin stream and quickly knead the batter.
  4. Add melted butter and leave the dough to rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Before the first pancake, you can grease the pan with vegetable oil. Fry the pancakes over high heat for 20–30 seconds on each side.
  6. Serve the finished pancakes with sour cream, jam or filling.
