More than 150 aircraft took part in the operation in Venezuela, the strikes were preceded by a cyber attack – Trump

“We had a lot of troops on the ground, it was incredible. And think about it – no one died. But on the other side, a lot of people died. Unfortunately, the soldiers were mostly Cubans, many, many died,” the American leader said.

Previously, Trump suggested that the United States could resort to a cyber attack or use other technical capabilities, as a result of which the light went out in Caracas during attacks on the capital of Venezuela, Politico wrote.

“Electricity for almost the entire country suddenly – bam – turned off. That’s when they realized there was a problem. […] The only people who had light were those who had candles. Everything just turned off. So we caught them a little by surprise. But it was brilliant. Tactically it was incredible,” he said.
