Krasnoyarsk residents were told what to do if they have problems with food delivery

The regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor told Krasnoyarsk residents what to do if the delivery service brought problems instead of food.

If the order is not delivered on time, the consumer has the right to file a claim with the contractor. It is drawn up in writing in two copies and can be delivered personally or sent by registered mail. In this case, the amount of the penalty cannot exceed the cost of the order. If the order was pre-paid, the consumer has the right to demand a refund. The owner of the aggregator is obliged to return them within 10 days from the date of presentation of the demand.

There is another situation: the food arrived on time, but the contents of the package do not at all correspond to the descriptions and photographs on the menu. The manufacturer is obliged to provide complete and reliable information about the dish so that the buyer can make an informed choice. If the actual composition or appearance does not match the picture, the consumer may insist on eliminating the defects or preparing a new dish, or completely terminate the contract and demand compensation for losses.

Rospotrebnadzor also reminds: when receiving delivery, it is advisable to check the order in the presence of the courier. If the courier does not want to participate in the “inspection” and is in a hurry to leave as quickly as possible, it is better to refuse to receive the order. Because if the buyer lets the courier go and only then reveals shortcomings in the order, it will be problematic to prove anything to the manufacturer. Alternatively, you can take a photo or video of the identified deficiencies, send them to the manufacturer and demand that they be corrected, or terminate the contract and return the money.
