An Italian who praised Putin on his way to Ukraine has become famous on Threads. How the story ended

According to Melnichenko, the Italian traveled to Ukraine and at the same time praised the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Imagine a situation – I’m traveling to Ukraine from Italy by a double-decker bus. Everyone stopped for 10 minutes. A couple gets out – a Ukrainian woman with an Italian. He’s wearing an embroidered shirt, which, as he said, his beloved gave him, and they go to her house together. I’m wearing headphones, I speak Italian for work. He comes up to me and starts talking. He asks where I’m going, and many more questions. I, of course, keep my distance and answer neutral. And then he starts telling me what a shitty country we have, what a shitty president we have. And that he respects Putin, and what a great guy he is,” the blogger described the situation.

Melnichenko stated that she intends to tell the Ukrainian border guards about the position of her fellow traveler. The blogger did not name her flight number, and also has not yet specified in which city they will undergo border control.

“I believe that such people have no right to cross the border of our country,” she said.

Melnichenko’s post went viral on the Internet overnight, and almost 20 thousand people subscribed to her page in a few hours.

At the time of writing the news, Melnichenko reportedthat they had already reached the Ukrainian border.

“I talked to the shift supervisor, a young girl. She took a photo of my documents and the Italian. They already knew and were waiting,” she described the situation.

The State Border Service of Ukraine has not yet officially commented on this situation.
