Tragic bar fire in Switzerland. The police identified all the victims


A total of 21 Swiss citizens and nine French citizens died in the tragedy (including a person with French-Swiss citizenship and three passports: French, Israeli and British). In addition, six Italians (including a person with Italian and Arab Emirates citizenship), as well as a Belgian, a Portuguese, a Romanian and a Turkish citizen lost their lives in the fire. The youngest victim was 14; the oldest – 39 years old.

The Italian government announced that on Monday an Italian Air Force plane would take the coffins with the bodies of Italian fire victims to Milan.
In the fire that broke out around 1:30 a.m. from Wednesday to Thursday in the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, 40 people died and 119 were injured; the health condition of many of them is described as serious or very serious.
On Sunday, hundreds of people paid tribute to the victims of the disaster in a silent march that passed through the streets of the Swiss resort. The Swiss prosecutor's office brought three charges against the owners of the bar: unintentional manslaughter, unintentional causing bodily injury and unintentional arson.
