The first government meeting of the new year. Donald Tusk's team will deal with this


The first matter to be considered will be a draft act amending certain acts in connection with the transfer of information to the European single access point.
Its aim is to adapt Polish law to European Union requirements regarding the transfer of financial and corporate data to the European Single Access Point (ESAP).
The new regulations are intended to make it easier for entrepreneurs to report information, increase the transparency of the capital market and improve investors' access to company data.

Energy under the microscope
The government will also proceed with the draft bill regarding energy law, which cThe aim is to further modernize the regulations on the energy market in Poland.
The Act provides, among others:
- introduction of new rules regarding energy storage,
- facilitating the development of renewable energy sources (RES),
- adaptation of regulations to EU regulations in the field of security of supply and energy efficiency.

Act on preparations for Euro 2012
The third issue that the government will deal with will be a draft law amending the Sports Act and the act on the preparation of the final tournament of the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship.
Although the act on preparations for EURO 2012 is already historic, some provisions governing the management of sports infrastructure are still in force. The project involves organizing them and adapting them to current realities.
The changes being introduced are intended to:
simplification of the rules for financing sports facilities,
increasing the role of local governments in infrastructure management,
improving mechanisms for supporting professional and amateur sports.
How will state property be managed?
The last project will be the draft position of the Government towards the parliamentary bill (Poland 2050) on amending the Act on the principles of managing state property.
The government will present its position on proposals for changes to the rules for managing state property. The parliamentary bill concerns, among others:
- increasing control over companies with State Treasury participation,
- introduction of new corporate supervision mechanisms,
- clarifying the competences of management bodies.
The government's position will be crucial for further work on the project in the Sejm.
