
User of the Ukrainian culinary portal Cookpad Tatiana Dyordyai shared a recipe for cabbage with beets.
“Crispy, flavorful and very quick snack – ideal for any dish!” – the user wrote.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of white cabbage;
- one beet;
- four cloves of garlic;
- 1 tbsp. l. salt;
- 90 g sugar;
- 0.5 l of water;
- 3 tbsp. l. vinegar 9%;
- 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
- Finely chop the cabbage, cut the beets into thin half rings.
- Boil water in a saucepan, add salt and sugar, stir until dissolved.
- Add chopped garlic and black pepper, mix lightly. Cook for a minute.
- Pour in vinegar, vegetable oil, bring to a boil.
- Cool the marinade and pour over the cabbage, mix well. Cover and leave to marinate for two hours at room temperature. It is advisable to put it under pressure.
