The authorities have also started this year to cancel the outstanding tax claims in the balance on December 31, 2025, if they are lower than 40 lei, Profit announces.
The procedure is carried out according to the Code of Fiscal Procedure and is applied every year, both for outstanding tax claims administered by the central fiscal body ANAF, and for those administered by local authorities. The measure targets both individuals and companies.
In the case of fiscal receivables administered by the local fiscal body, by decision, the authorities can set the ceiling of fiscal receivables that can be cancelled, but without exceeding the limit of 40 lei.
Current taxes, set at the level of 2015
