Marta Nawrocka has been associated with the Customs Service and the National Tax Administration for 18 years. During the 2025 presidential campaign, she decided to take unpaid leave, and after her husband's election victory, she formally left the service.

In an interview with Viva magazine, she admitted that she has been retired since August 6, emphasizing that the experience gained in her professional career will remain an important stage of her life.
Unlike people covered by the general pension system, who become entitled to benefits after reaching the age of 60 for women and 65 for men, officers of the Customs and Tax Service can retire much earlier. The minimum period of service to qualify for the benefit is 15 years.

Marta Nawrocka's thirteenth retirement. That's how much it can be
The pensions of this group are paid not by ZUS, but by the Pension and Disability Insurance Institution of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. After 15 years of service, the benefit is 40 percent. basis of assessment, and each subsequent year increases it by 2.6%.
Marta Nawrocka held the position of junior expert. The applicable regulations provide for a basic salary for this position ranging from approximately PLN 5,500. up to 9.3 thousand PLN gross. Assuming that her salary was closer to the upper limit, the amount of the pension – calculated on the basis of earnings from the last ten years – may be around PLN 4,000. PLN gross per month. But that's not all.

In addition to the regular pension benefit, the first lady can also count on additional support in the form of a thirteenth pension. It is available to all eligible seniors in the same gross amount, regardless of the amount of the basic benefit. Its amount corresponds to the minimum pension. In 2025 it was 1 thousand. PLN 878 and PLN 91 gross, while after indexation in 2026 – according to government forecasts – this amount is to be PLN 1,000. PLN 870 and PLN 60 gross.
An income tax advance and health insurance premium are deducted from the thirteenth pension. For benefits exceeding PLN 2.5 thousand PLN gross amount paid “on hand” is PLN 1,000. PLN 556 and 25 groszy.
Everything indicates that Marta Nawrocka will also receive this amount, provided that she is entitled to a pension as of March 31. The additional benefit is paid together with the April pension, and the Pension and Disability Insurance Institution of the Ministry of Interior and Administration transfers the funds by the fifth day of each month.
