Teodor Lungu (30 years old), former champion of Moldova with Petrocub Hîncești, was presented at Unirea Slobozia, writes DigiSport.ro.
The midfielder, who won the title in 2024 in the Republic of Moldova, arrived free of contract at Unirea Slobozia, with which he signed until the summer of 2027.
Teodor Lungu is the first transfer made by a SuperLiga club in 2026.

Teodor Lungu is 30 years old and originally from Ialoveni. He played for Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni (2012-2018, 2021-2022, 111 matches, 14 goals), Foresta Suceava, Romania (2018-2020), Dacia Buiucani (2020, 20 matches), Gardolo, Italy (2022-2023) and Petrocub (2023-2025, 98 matches, 11 goals).
With Sfântul Gheorghe he won the Moldavian Cup and Supercup (2021). With Petrocub he became national champion and winner of the Moldovan Cup (2024). He played one match for the Moldovan national team, 70 minutes in the friendly with Gibraltar (1-1) from the year 2024″, the people from Ialomi reported.
