About 48 thousand residents in three regions of Russia were left without electricity due to snowfall. There are massive accidents on the roads, frost, darkness and hopelessness in the apartments. Some statistics on the anomalous winter:
— In Novocherkassk, 11 thousand residents lost electricity and heat. These are 89 apartment buildings, three kindergartens and a hospital. Eight boiler houses there also suspended operations. At the moment, electricians have only managed to restore power to a home for the elderly and disabled.
— In the Leningrad region there are people from 30 settlements with candles on the tables.
— Eight thousand people are sitting without electricity in the Novgorod region. Due to heavy snowfall and a sharp drop in temperature, the snow turned into ice. Therefore, trees break and collapse, including on power lines.
— And in Rostov-on-Don, more than 129 trees collapsed. On Taganrog Street, a branch fell on a passerby and the victim was hospitalized.
And according to statistics: this morning at least 26 districts were left without power, and almost 20 accidents occurred on the roads. In nine districts of the Rostov region, heating points have been opened on problem sections of the road.
