A Russian man went missing in Georgia after his car was stopped by armed locals. Victor S. was kidnapped on the night of January 4-5 on the Zugdidi-Jvari highway.
Victor and his girlfriend Alina left Moscow for Georgia on January 2 in a Skoda Rapid, stopped in Tbilisi and went to Tetnuldi for skiing. On the night of January 4-5, on the road to Hashi, a white Subaru with local license plates overtook them and blocked the passage. The man asked Victor for a pump, after which the two got out of the car and pestered his girlfriend. The attackers shot twice and kidnapped Alina. She never saw Victor again. The girl asked not to kill or rape her – the men threw her out of the car in the middle of the road. A day later, the police found an empty Subaru with traces of blood and Victor’s Skoda, but he himself disappeared without a trace.
One of the attackers is wanted, Alina identified him. She herself is now at the hotel and is contacting all authorities to find Victor, including Interpol. Victor is a businessman from Tula, he has his own plastic production company.
