The dark side of the most famous genius of the 20th century. Shocking details about how they behave with women in his life

Albert Einstein was one of the most famous geniuses of humanity. He had an important contribution in the field of science, winning the Nobel Prize. However, there is more and more talk about a dark side of the great physicist, especially related to the relationship with the family.

Albert Einstein is probably the most important scientist of the 20th century, revolutionizing modern physics by developing the theories (restricted and general) and photoelectric effect. The theories of relativity have changed the conception of space, time, gravity and matter. Its contributions include formula E = MC2, which explains the relationship between energy and mass, opening the way to understanding cosmic phenomena such as black holes and gravitational waves. In order to discover the photoetheric effect, which showed that the light is composed of photons, discrete particles with a certain energy, Einstein received the Nobel Prize, becoming the most gallant physicist of history.
His work effectively changed the paradigm of physics, representing a radical break of Newtonian physics and opening the way to a deeper understanding of the universe. Its theories were the basis for the development of numerous modern branches of physics, from cosmology and astrophysics to particle physics. It is said, however, that genius also has a cost. In Einstein's case, his extraordinary intellectual capacity was counterbalanced by a dark side on a personal level. More precisely, the great genius would have had misogynistic appeals and would have behaved executably in relation to his partners. There are opinions that indicate that they were negligent with their own children.
Maria, washing dirty clothes and illusion of marriage
Albert Einstein said that science is more important than anything, including life partners. This also suggests his story with Marie Winteler, a two -year -old girl from Aarau, the capital of Canton Elgau from Switzerland. The story begins in 1895. Albert Einstein was 16 years old and was enrolled in the cantonal school in the city of Aarau, near Zurich. Previously, he had taken the rigorous admission exams from the Zurich Polytechnic and had been on the tests that were not related to science and math. The teachers recommended him to make a year of recovery in Aarau.
In the Swiss city, Einstein stayed at Professor Jost Winteler. He had three daughters and four sons. The youngest and most beautiful of the daughters was Marie. The Winteler family had very progressive social and political opinions, which Albert admires. They were liberal pacifists, with free thought, and he felt comfortable quickly and at ease in this house. Soon he called him “father” and “mother”. Albert fell in love with Marie, who was two years older than him and finished the courses to become a teacher at the primary school. The feelings were mutual. Marie, who was a perfect pianist, sang duets with Albert, in turn a skilled violinist. Albert Einstein was careful to conquer the daughter of the hosts with crafted words until he completely subjugated it.
“It is so wonderful to be able to press such a piece of paper that the two eyes so dear have lovingly watched and on which delicate gloves have slipped back and forth. Now I fully understood, my angel, the meaning of the longing for the house.Einstein wrote to Marie, while she was gone during a her parents vacation on April 21, 1896.
The relationship between the two became so serious that it was noted by parents, as it appeared from the correspondence carried by Marie and Albert Einstein. Everyone expected the two to get married soon. In addition, including Einstein's sister, Maja, was hosting the Winteler family and came to marry Paul, their son. The following year, Einstein goes to the Zurich Polytechnic School, abandoning Marie, although she had understood that they would marry.
Separation began with a cold. Einstein used the young teacher (graduated and hired) as a laundress. That is, he sent her dirty clothes to wash them. Often without a word and, obviously, without the ordinary flirting before. It is even suspected that while sending his clothes to wash, Einstein flirted or even started a relationship with Mileva, his future wife.
“She was teaching at the primary school, she wrote about her difficulties in the classroom and, obviously, expected to discuss marriage. But an indication that something was not right in their relationship appears in the first ranks of this letter from Marie, written in November 1896. To put this in context, you must know that Albert was sent to her. Your basket arrived today and in vain I tightened my eyes looking for a note, even though the mere view of your dear writing was enough to make me happy. ” Nothing but the dirty clothes. We do not know the magnitude of his relationship with Mileva so early in the school year. It was, at least, it was a lack of sensitivity. What we know is that Marie clearly said that this business with the laundry was not an easy task; For, later in the letter, she writes: “Last Sunday I crossed the forest in torrential rain to take your basket to the mail, soon?”said David R. Topper, specialist in science history and professor at the University of Winnipeg, Canada, in the article “The Dark Side of Albert: Einstein and Marie Winteler, His First Love.”
Finally, Einstein will be brutally separated from Marie writing that she does not want to correspond, and even tells her that a gift received from her was quite stupid. Later, Einstein will apologize to Maria's parents, saying that science was in the first place and had no time for something else. He had omitted to tell them that he was already seeing another girl.
An emotional abusive husband
Later, in 1903, Einstein married Mileva Maric, a young Serb, in Zurich. Mileva was beautiful, but he had a congenital dislocation of the left hip and walked all his life.
“One of the oldest photos we have with Mileva is dated 1897. In this portrait, I see a very serious, confident and determined woman, with big and penetrating eyes, a rich and wavy, dark hair, and full lips. I would call it simple, but attractive.”the same David Topper said, but this time in “The Dark Side of Albert: Einstein and Mileva Maric, His First Wife.”
Mileva was a physicist, just like Einstein. He was his classmate, being the first woman in the Austro-Hungarian Empire who attended physics at the prestigious Polytechnic in Zurich. Albert Einstein was attracted to her and quickly became a couple.
Einstein's character came to light when, before marriage, in 1902, he was pregnant on the millennium. The young woman leaves home, being supported by her parents. Born a little girl, baptized Lieserl. Einstein remained in Zurich and did not make time to see his girlfriend and child after birth. In fact, Einstein will never see Lieserl. “Nobody knows what happened with Lieserl; it seems to have disappeared from all records. You may have died of scarlet fever; or it may have been adopted and increased.”add topper, in the same work.
However, Mileva will marry in 1903 with Albert Einstein. At first things went very well between the two. Mileva made two children with Einstein, Albert and Eduard. He gave up the continuation of research and studies to become a full -time mother. Einstein cheated on her with a divorced cousin, Elsa Lownthal, who lived in Berlin. All this happened after Einstein moved to the German capital to occupy a prestigious position at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Physics.
Without much to care for them, he imposed on his wife humiliating conditions. “” He went so far that he gave him a list of requirements: to wash his clothes, to prepare three meals a day and to keep his office clean-all without any personal relationship. No privacy in the house and no public presence together. It was a degrading cruelty: the role of Mileva was reduced to being a man, Zurich, where the rest of his life remained ”the topper said. Moreover, he would have offended her and would not have taken care of the children. Mileva divorced Einstein in 1919, and the physicist immediately married Elsa.
The studies of his letters show that Albert Einstein had accents of misogyny. “They are passive, insecure, needy and they want to be dominated.”Einstein wrote about women in a letter. In another, from 1925, he shows that he agrees with physical violence against children and women: “Not only children need a little beat, but also adults and especially women ”. “Overall, Albert was a nineteenth-century chauvinist man in his attitude and communication with women.”says Topper.
