Trump in Kiev? Zelensky: the visit would be useful

— I think it will be useful if President Trump can come. He talks about defending the plan to end the war. I told him: you're welcome, we'll be happy to see him,' Zelensky said.

He added that it would be good if the US president flew not to Poland, but directly to Ukraine.

— Because if President Trump, the President of the United States of America, comes to Ukraine, it would be desirable for him to fly not to Poland by plane and then travel by train, but to fly directly to Ukraine. This will prove that we have a real possibility of counting on a ceasefire, noted the head of the Ukrainian state.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is ready for Trump's visit at any time when he is ready and when all possibilities are available, including appropriate security conditions.

Trump does not rule out a visit to Ukraine

European Pravda explained that after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the country's airspace was closed and all foreign leaders visiting Ukraine had so far arrived by land from Poland.

President Trump said on Sunday that he does not plan to visit Ukraine, but does not rule it out if it would help reach a peace agreement, the website recalled.
