The footballers from FC Botoșani, a team in 3rd place in the Superliga at the end of 2025, will not go abroad in the winter camp.
“FC Botoșani has finalized its schedule for this competition break. The red-white-blue reunion will take place on January 5, 2026 at the National Football Center in Mogoșoaia. The centralized winter training camp will also take place here, Leo Grozavu's students will return to the town on January 16, 2026”, the Botoșani club said on their Facebook page, according to gsp.ro.
FC Botoșani announces that during the centralized training camp in Mogoșoaia, George Miron & co will also hold a test in the company of Farul Constanța, scheduled for January 12.
It is possible that in addition to this friendly game, the red-white-blues will hold another test, being advanced discussions in this regard. FC Botoșani will officially debut in 2026 at Miercurea Ciuc against FK Csikszereda.
The game will be played on Sunday, January 18, at 15:30, in the 22nd round of this regular season of the SuperLiga.
FC Botoșani has 38 points after 21 stages and is in third position, two points behind the leader Universitatea Craiova and one point below Rapid, the club in second position.
