The “political vision” anti Nicușor Dan propagated by the Pro Simion network two days before the vote. Who was behind the message

The monks sponsored by Gigi Becali, from a sketch for which Gold asked for a million euros from the state, demonized Nicușor Dan in a message reminiscent of a real witch hunt. Specifically, from them started a so -called “discovery from God” politically exploited by George Simion's supporters at the end of the election campaign, journalists from context.ro reveal.

The context.ro investigative site reports that on the last day of the election campaign, on Friday before the vote for the presidential elections, a “prophetic” message, which demonized the candidate Nicușor Dan, propagated on social networks. Rapidly taken over by the supporters of the counter -candidate George Simion, the message supported the confirmation of an “Athos political vision related to elections!”.

The “prophecy” transformed the choice between Dan and Simion into one between good and evil. If Simion, like any man, “has two passions, who can not affect his judgment and ability to be president”, not being “destroyer of the nation”, Nicușor Dan comes right from hell: it is white, inert, which, as the administrator www.chiliethonita.ro, explains, the site from where the prophecy has “”. The message, in the apocalyptic right, appeals to obscurantism, invokes spells, but also offers an exit: the vote will overcome the beast.

• “Vedenia” has propagated rapidly: Activenews, the main vector of Russia's convenient narratives, identified by the International Firehose of Falseem investigation, titled: “The disturbing elections and prophecy of Athos: the 7th and the most earthquake why no Christian can vote with Nicușor Dan.”
• R3Media, the propaganda site of gold, wrote: “Support from St. Mount Athos for George Simion: we see that behind Nicușor Dan is a dark beast”, while the tone of the title published by Romania TV was more weighted: “The vision of a monk from Mount Athos regarding the presidential elections in Romania.
• Also, several telegram channels, some of the network that apologized to the legionary movement, have distributed the message.

Where did the “political vision” start from

The Athonite Chilia from Athos is officially called the Chilia “The Entry of the Virgin in the Church” and is part of the Lacu Shrine, a settlement that “was and is inhabited by Romanian monks”. The hermitage includes another 16 cells in which several dozen people live and is a kind of star of the Romanian press. A parent here, unidentified, was the one who had the “political vision” later exploited by the Pro-Simion network, from Anca Alexandrescu to Activenews, the support page of IPS Teodosie or unelegated telegram channels such as Orthodoxy or Freedom Tube, explains the context.ro.

According to the quoted publication, the abbot of Chilia is Vlad Pimen, indebted to Gigi Becali, a parliamentarian elected on the gold lists, from which almost half of the money for the construction of Chilia came. According to Pimen, in the past Becali gave the monks 30,000 euros cash for paying debts, in a net. In total, the Lacu hermitage would have received from Becali 2 million euros.

In the counterparty, 16 gold parliamentarians initiated at the end of last year a draft law proposing that the Lacu hermitage would receive one million euros, annual financing from the state. At this moment, according to the law, the Romanian state funds only the Prodromu hermitage, with two million euros annually. The proposal to amend the law passed by the Senate and was sent for debate to the Chamber of Deputies, where it will be subject to the final vote.
