An employee of a bakery stole the box with the money from the sales. What did he do with the 30,000 lei

The employee of a bakery in the Domneşti commune of Argeș was detained by the police on the charge that he broke into the premises of the bakery at night, from where he stole a metal box containing approximately 30,000 lei.

“From the investigations carried out, it emerged that, on the night of 25/26.12.2025, an unknown person would have entered by forcing two PVC doors into the premises of a bakery in the Domneşti commune, from where a metal box containing approximately 30,000 lei would have been stolen. Following the checks carried out, the police identified a 24-year-old man from the commune Domneşti, Argeș county, employee of the commercial company in question, about whom there were indications that he could be involved in the commission of the crime”reports the Argeş County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).

On Tuesday, December 30, the police searched two homes used by the respective young man, finding articles of clothing similar to those worn at the time of the crime, as well as the amount of 12,911 lei, possibly stolen, writes Agerpres.

Following the administered probation, the 24-year-old was detained for 24 hours, to be presented to the case prosecutor, with a proposal to take a preventive measure.

The research continues to accurately establish all the circumstances of the commission of the crime, under the supervision of the case prosecutor, within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Court of Argeş.
