Rudiger, out of Real Madrid » Another player is in a similar situation

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger (32) is expected to leave the club in the Spanish capital.
His form of late, combined with the frequent injuries he has been dealing with, has created intense concern among the Galacticos management about his contribution to the team. Another Real defender, David Alaba (33 years old), is in a similar situation.
Rudiger, out of Real Madrid
Antonio Rudiger's Real Madrid career appears to be at a critical juncture as several Spanish publications claim the German centre-back is heading for a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 32-year-old centre-back, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026, has made just 12 appearances this season However, Real Madrid do not appear willing, for now, to open talks to extend their partnership.
The chances of the German defender staying are slim. However, that could change by the end of the season if Rüdiger manages to regain his place in the starting eleven and convince his coach Xabi Alonso with his performances, according to the publication AS.
If that doesn't happen, the experienced defender will likely leave as a free agent, and interest from other teams in acquiring him is already expected to be intense.
Arriving at Real Madrid in 2022, the German played 163 matches for the “galacticos”.
